Wat is een podcast?
Een podcast is een radioprogramma dat via het internet wordt uitgezonden. Er zijn fictie- en non-fictiepodcasts over zowat elke interesse, van technologie tot tuinieren en van ornithologie tot onderwijs. Je hoeft niet online te zijn om te luisteren. Dat doe je via een app op je smartphone die de afleveringen voor je downloadt en klaarzet, zodat je kan luisteren waar en wanneer je wil.

Podcasts voor leraren
Podcasts zijn in de eerste plaats gewoon leuk om naar te luisteren: tijdens een lange verplaatsing of tijdens het schoonmaken. Maar je kan een aflevering van een fictie- of non-fictiepodcast gebruiken als luisteroefening in de klas. Bovendien zijn er ook leraren die hun leerlingen laten podcasten als oefenvorm.
